How To Stay A Street Smart Vegan
Written on August 28, 2011 at 3:34 pm, by Jay Wesley Anderson
Being vegan is a lifestyle choice, not merely a trendy diet. If you’ve tried going vegan only to find it difficult to stay the course, it’s possible that you need to put more focus on all the benefits a vegan diet has.
After talking to many seasoned vegans, as well as from my own experience, the recurring theme seems to be this: once you know the benefits of being vegan and experience how good it feels living the vegan lifestyle, there is constant positive reinforcement upholding why you went vegan in the first place…every time you eat.
Here are a few focus points that highlight the benefits of going vegan. One, vegan foods are guaranteed cholesterol free, which automatically allows any vegan to experience an abundance of better health.
Two, the vegan lifestyle is a compassionate lifestyle that boycotts animal cruelty and all the bad vibes associated with factory farming.
Three, being vegan automatically puts you in the growing tribe of conscious consumers stepping with a light eco-footprint. Animal product production pollutes. Vegan eating is environmentally efficient.
So next time you feel you might be slipping or sliding away from your decision to be vegan, consider all of the benefits you’d be missing. Ask yourself, “How awesome does it feel to be a conscious global citizen of the Earth, stepping lightly with my eco-footprint, living a compassionate lifestyle, and enjoying delicious vegan food that puts me on track for vibrant health?”

I’ve replied, “Have you ever noticed how fast rabbits are?” Seriously!
In other words, as a vegan, your motto could be, ” I don’t miss a beat

Ground Flax is high in Omega-3 Fatty Acids, Amino Acids, and is also an awesome source of dietary fiber. Pure soy lecithin granules help support brain and nerve function and energy production.
Both of these are healthy and easy supplements that can be included in many meals you are probably already eating.
When finished preparing a stir-fry, pasta, or salad, simply dash a couple tablespoons of both ground flax and soy lecithin granules and mix them in. Or, blend these ingredients into your morning smoothie.
